Steno-Oxford course

In 2003, Steno Diabetes Center began collaborating with the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM). The partnership between the two leading diabetes centres is unique inasmuch as it combines the research and educational tradition of SDC with the expertise from OCDEM.

Once a year the four-day course is held in turn in Oxford and Copenhagen; OCDEM hosted the first course in their new facilities in 2004. The course can accommodate maximum 25 participants (young endocrinologists), who are signed up at the Novo Nordisk concerns.

Leading experts from Steno Diabetes Center, OCDEM and other diabetes centres deliver information and head debates and discussions with the aim of disseminating knowledge and expertise to those involved in the area of diabetes treatment.
