Education in research at Steno Diabetes Center

For doctors and others with an academic background
Each year, at least six PhD theses or dissertations are defended, and typically  15 to 25 PhD students are attached to the centre. In collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) and Denmark’s Technical University (DTU), a large number of MSc students within the areas of
• biochemistry
• human nutrition
• public health
• biostatistics

are attached to the centre.

For nurses
Steno Diabetes Center is a member of UCSF – the university hospitals’ centre for nursing and care research. UCSF offers a one-year course in research. Five nurses from SDC have completed the course.
